NCAA March Madness Live

Quick Look: The NCAA March Madness Live channel offers college hoops fans in the U.S., U.S. territories, and Bermuda the opportunity to watch live tournament action from the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Championship, along with on-demand highlights and features. Every non-CBS game will be carried live on this app, which is available on 12 platforms including Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, Roku® players and Roku TV™ models. (Games on CBS can be viewed on CBS All Access.)

All users get a free 3-hour preview, after which you will need to subscribe to a participating pay TV service to continue watching live games. Participating cable/satellite providers include AT&T Uverse, Cox, DirecTV, Dish, Optimum, Spectrum, SuddenLink, Verizon FiOS, and Xfinity, along with dozens of local and regional providers. You can also activate NCAA March Madness Live for live tournament coverage if you subscribe to one of the following streaming TV services: DIRECTV NOW, Hulu with Live TV, PlayStation Vue, or YouTube TV.

If you subscribe to a participating pay TV service, here is how to activate NCAA March Madness Live on your Roku device:

  • Launch the NCAA March Madness Live channel, press the * on your remote and select "TV Provider."
  • Enter the registration code shown on the channel at www.ncaa.com/activate/roku. You will be asked to select your TV provider and login through that service.

New to NCAA March Madness Live this year is the Capital one Bracket Challenge, also referred to as "Picks," which lets you play along by making picks on your mobile device. From within the NCAA March Madness Live Roku channel, press the * button on your remote and select "Picks" from the menu. Then scan the QR code on the TV screen with your mobile device to download install the NCAA March Madness Live app on the device. Make your picks on the mobile device, then return to the Picks option in the Roku channel after noon Eastern on March 21st.

The channel also has a small selection of video on demand currently available, which includes highlights of this year's games and a collection of classic games. Additional highlights and other VOD content is expected to be added once the tournament begins.

• Log in with your TV provider after the free 3-hour preview ends to continue watching (paid TV subscription required for games broadcast on TBS, TNT, and truTV after 3-hour preview ends; CBS games are not available to watch in the March Madness Live app for Roku. Live video is only available in the US, its Territories and Bermuda).
