Math Game is an educational multiple-choice game that lets younger children test their math skills in addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. After selecting one of these options (or "mixed" to play all four of them in one game), the player is shown a simple math problem, such as
22 + 8 = ?
or
5 x 6 = ?
There will be four possible answers, which correspond to the four directional arrows on the Roku remote (see screenshots below). Press UP, DOWN, LEFT, or RIGHT to select an answer.
Math Game also offers a sixth variation in which the player must select the correct sign (plus, minus, multiplication, or division) for the equation answer that is shown. For example,
24 ? 6 = 4
The game also has two levels of difficulty: Hard and Kids. This would lead one to believe that the "Hard" level would present something for older students, maybe including radical and exponential equations. Or maybe even just working with three numbers instead of two. During our review, however, the only difference we saw between Hard and Kids was that there may be more single-digit numbers in the Kids level.
