Have a Very Roku HalloweenLong-time Roku users will recognize that the title of this article refers to a former Roku channel, "A Very Roku Halloween", from the early days of the video streaming device. Roku hasn't created this annual mashup in several years, but that doesn't mean you won't find a lot of great Halloween content elsewhere on Roku. Whether you need inspiration for Halloween treats and decorating ideas, you're looking for some late-night horror films, or you want to add some appropriate ambiance or music to your Halloween party, these Roku channels will deliver what you're looking for. And they're all free!

Start the Halloween season off by installing a free Halloween-themed screensaver on your Roku. There are around a dozen such screensavers available, but most of them will cost you anywhere between a $0.99 one-time charge to $3.99 per month. However, Halloween Magic 2022 is free and will provide you with a slideshow of Halloween-themed images while your Roku is idle. It can also display the current time, and a weather widget is available for a small fee. Halloween 4K Screensavers is another free option with many images.
