NewsNation on Roku provides a live stream of the cable news network owned by Nexstar Media Group, which was known as WGN Superstation and Superstation WGN until relaunching in 2021 as a cable news network named after its flagship news program.[1] Although the network has hired polarizing on-air staff, it's generally regarded as an unbiased, centrist organization.[2]
In addition to the NewsNation live stream, the Roku app lets viewers watch on-demand headline segments as well as recent segments from CUOMO, On Balance, Vargas Reports, Morning In America, and Weekend Prime.
NewsNation's FAQ page states that "Access to this service is only available to customers of participating TV service providers." However, at the time of our review, no login was required and there was no indication that free streaming time was limited as with some other services.
