cCloud TV

Private Channel Notice!

Roku has removed all private (non-certified) channels from Roku devices and this channel is no longer available. See this article for more information.

cCloud TV is no longer available as a private/non-certified channel on Roku.

SORRY - cCloud TV is no longer available as a private/non-certified channel on Roku. Although the channel code still works, and the Roku website will indicate that cCloud has been added to your Roku device, the channel does not get added.

I have no further information regarding the removal of cCloud, but it can be assumed that the channel's removal is part of Roku, Inc.'s continued effort to remove channels with unauthorized content.

Links to the cCloud website, Facebook page, and Twitter account are listed below. However, as of April 7, 2018, the cCloud developer has been silent regarding cCloud on Roku and has not responded to comments on Facebook regarding the channel's removal from Roku.

Channel Description: cCloud TV is a "cloud based media links sharing system... built by the community for the community." cCloud compiles user-submitted links to streaming media (TV channels, movies, music, etc.) hosted elsewhere on the Internet, and makes those links available through the cCloud website and apps on a variety of devices, including Roku. Like any other Roku channel, just find the content you want to watch, click on the link, and it will be streamed to your Roku. For comparision, cCloud TV is similar to the private Roku channelXTV and the now-defunct Justin TV.

cCloud on Roku offers a wide variety of programming from around the world, including cable channels, news, movies, music, and sports. Content is organized into the following categories:

  • Top 10
  • News
  • Sports
  • Documentary
  • Entertainment
  • Family
  • Movies
  • Music
  • Lifestyle
  • OnDemandMovies
  • Public-News
  • Public-Family
  • Radio
  • RandomAirTime 24/7
  • Non English/International

cCloud currently lists popular TV networks such as NatGeo, Nick, CNN, Comedy Central, and A&E; however many link aren't working. As typical for this type of service, working links come and go, so what works today may not work tomorrow. cCloud is for the patient user, as you may spend a lot of time browsing and clicking on dead links, and there is no search function.
