Wordscapes is a fun game to help children learn spelling and improve their vocabulary. The game's screen consists of a crossword-style layout of blocks and a wheel of letters. The number of letters increases with each level. To play, use the arrow keys on your remote to highlight a letter and press [OK] to select it. Move around the wheel selecting letters to spell out words. Selected letters are displayed below the wheel, and valid words are transferred to the crossword blocks when complete.
The menu bar on the right side of the screen can be accessed by pressing the settings icon on the remote and then navigating to each option. The topmost option lets you rearrange the letters on the letter wheel. The definition of the current word can be found with the book icon at the bottom of the menu bar. The other options let you shop if you have enough points.
