Prince of Persia

Quick Look: Prince of Persia on Roku is a remake of the video game from the late 1980s of the same name. The plot of the game, which is set in ancient Persia, revolves around a wizard, Jaffar, who seizes power while the sultan is in a foreign land. The Sultan's daughter blocks his ascent to the throne, so Jaffar locks her in a tower, ordering her to become his wife less she die within an allotted amount of time. The Princess is in love with a nameless protagonist, who is imprisoned in a dungeon. The objective is the make sure the protagonist escapes the dungeon, gets to the palace tower, and defeats Jaffar before time runs out to free the princess.

The game offers the following options:

You can choose from Classic Mode, 4 Room mode or 9 Room Mode
Control Mode: allows you to play with your remote held either horizontally or vertacally, several images provide information on the function of each button
Graphics Mode
Mods and Cheats: Allows you to play several different versions of the game including 13 additional levels, SNES-PC-set, Prince of Persia and Prince of Persia Revisited. Fight Mode varies between attack, frozen or alert, the FF/REW keys allows you to instantly change levels
