JokeCast is a Roku app that displays a different joke on your TV screen every time you press the "new joke" button. Many of the jokes will be understood only by techies. (For example, ".NET developers are picky when it comes to food. They only like chicken NuGet." Or "Debugging is like being the detective in a crime movie where you're also the murderer at the same time.") But also included are a number of "dad jokes" like "Why does Santa go down the chimney? Because it soots him!" and "Which is faster, Hot or Cold? Hot, because you can catch a cold."
But just because there are plenty of dad jokes in the mix doesn't mean this is a family-friendly Roku app. The following is certainly not "perfect for family gatherings" as stated in the Roku Channel Store description: "Women are like KFC, once you're done with the breasts and the thighs, you just have a greasy box to put your bone in." Also appearing on this app was an anti-LGBTQ joke that we won't print here, as well as Jewish jokes that we found to be in extremely bad taste.
