Quick Look: Originally offered as an iPhone/iPad app, the arcade-style game Frisbee Forever is now available to Roku 2
users with a gaming remote.
The Frisbee Forever interface will be recognizable to Angry Birds players, with multiple levels in several worlds. Complete every level in a world to unlock the next world. The premise of the game is simple: you control a flying Frisbee with the left and right directional buttons on your remote. As the Frisbee is flying through the air, you move it left and right to pick up stars for points while directing the Frisbee through rings. Make it through all the rings, and you unlock the next level.
I've only played a few levels, but I found the game to be addictive. The 3D effect is surprisingly good, with the Frisbee flying through spiral-shaped tunnels and the rings coming at you very quickly. It's a simple arcade game, but one that's just difficult enough to keep me coming back until I unlock all the worlds.
