BMX Kid

BMX Kid is a simple arcade game in which you use grab tokens and dodge obstacles on a BMX bike. Just use the up arrow on your Roku remote to make your bike-riding avatar jump for the tokens and to jump over the obstacles. (See screenshots below.)

When launching BMX Kid you will be presented with two purchase options, which you can bypass with the back arrow on your remote. You'll then be presented with another option to purchase the full game. Another back arrow will give you more options, one of which will be to start the game. But first you'll have to select "Max", the only free character - you also have the option to purchase a different character. After that, you have two game options - Career and Survival. Only Career is free; select Survival and you will be prompted to purchase the full game.

If you don't have your Roku account set up to require a PIN for purchases, be careful about allowing a young child to play this game alone. When you hit an obstacle and try to restart play, the game defaults to a purchase selection. Pressing the OK button a time or two too many may result in an accidental purchase without the PIN in place.

How much does it cost to buy characters or the full game? We don't know, because you must first allow Roku to share your name, address, email address, and phone number with the game developer before pricing is revealed. And that is too much personal information to give up just to find out how much the game costs.
