Quick Look: Bagel Radio is a spin-off from the wonderful "listener-supported, commercial-free, underground radio" SomaFM. Now available as a standalone streaming radio station, Bagel Radio delivers "indie rock, post-punk, garage & psych rock, plus gloomy gothy synthy stuff 24/7/365." A live-hosted new music show streams every Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Eastern, with reruns throughout the weekend.
During our review, the live-hosted show played It's All Really Kind of Amazing by Death Valley Girls, As Much As It Was Worth by Dean Wareham, and A Promise by Echo & The Bunnymen. This, however, is only a small selection of the great music available on Bagel Radio, programmed by real humans.
