Quick Look: Apple TV on Roku provides access to the new Apple+ subscription service that launched on November 1. Apple+ lets users stream more than 100,000 movies and TV shows for $4.99 per month, including original Apple series like For All Mankind, The Morning Show and Oprah's Book Club.

In addition to the Apple TV+ subscription service, Apple TV provides Roku users with the ability to buy or rent from a library of thousands of movies and TV shows, including current titles like "The Lion King," "Toy Story 4," and "Spider-Man: Far From Home." Prices vary - those movies can be purchased for $19.99 or rented for $5.99, while other titles, such as "Rocketman" have a purchase price of $9.99. As an example of TV show prices, "Fargo" can be purchased for $2.99 per episode or $24.99 for a full season.

As with Amazon Prime Video Channels and The Roku Channel, Apple TV lets users subscribe to premium streaming services. Nearly two dozen are currently available, including heavy hitters HBO, Showtime, Starz, and Cinemax. Other services include Tastemade, PBS Living, Acorn TV, and Livetime Movie Club. Subscriptions include a 7-day free trial, but monthly fees vary.

If you subscribe to any Apple TV Channels, payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at the confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless they are canceled at least 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. Simultaneous streams may be limited on a per subscription basis.
