Many parts of the U.S. are getting with blizzards and frigid arctic air, but Major League Baseball Spring Training gives us a hint that hot summer days in the ballpark aren't far away. With the MLB 2015 season almost here, fans can now subscribe to MLB.TV and watch select Spring Training games and over 2,430 regular season games live or on-demand on their Roku devices (live games subject to blackout restrictions).
On Roku, MLB.TV viewers can choose the Home or Away feed (when available) in HD-quality video, and can pause and rewind live game action. For both live and archived games you have the option to start from the beginning of a game or to jump to a specific inning. For live games already in progress, you have the option to join the live stream or start from the beginning of the game. Unfortunately, more-advanced features that available on PC and mobile devices, such as in-game highlights and stats, the Pitch by Pitch Widget, and Mosaic View, are not available on Roku.
The MLB.TV Premium subscription is $129.99 per year - the same as 2014. Click here for more information on the MLB.TV Roku channel.
