Cinemax on Sling TV on Roku for $10 per month Cinemax, previously available only as a premium add-on to cable and satellite TV subscriptions, is now available for $10 per month to Sling TV subscribers on Roku and many other connected devices. Cinemax premieres a new movie every Saturday night and also offers popular original series, including Strike Back, Hunted, The Knick, and Banshee, as well as upcoming new series Quarry and Outcast.

The Cinemax add-on includes a live feed of the Cinemax channel like you would get through traditional cable. The linear programming schedule is included in the programming guide alongside all the other Sling TV programming. In addition, Cinemax on Sling TV includes over 500 hours of on-demand movies and TV shows - the same content available to current Cinemax cable subscribers through the Max Go apps and website.

To get Cinemax, you will need to subscribe to Sling TV's basic Best of Live TV package for $20 per month, or one of the Sling International base packages. Cinemax joins HBO, which is also available as a Sling TV add-on. Unlike HBO, though, Cinemax does not currently offer a standalone subscription outside of cable or Sling TV. Movie lovers with Sling TV can also watch Turner Classic Movies, four channels of EPIX, and Sundance TV for the $5/month Hollywood Extra add-on.
