Quick Look: Twitched is an unofficial app for watching live videos streams from the Twitch platform. The channel's home screen provides access to the 50 most-popular streams, or you can browse by Games, Creative, or Communities. If you link your Twitch account to the Twitched channel, your "followed" streams are also available. (To link your Twitch account, go to Settings in the channel's home screen menu, then select the Log In option and follow the instructions there.) The channel also includes a search feature to help you find specific streams.
On the Twitched website you'll find an Android app that will let you cast from a mobile device to the Twitched Roku channel, along with Chrome, Firefox, and Opera extensions for casting from those browsers. The Twitched developer also promises that more features are in the works, including chat, the ability to manage followed channels from within the Roku channel, and access to video on demand.
