Pioneertown TV contains 28 episodes of the The Gene Autry Show, a half-hour Western TV series that was filmed in Pioneertown and aired on CBS from 1950 to 1956. The weekly show starred Gene Autry, the singing cowboy, in a variety of roles that included rancher, sheriff, and border agent. He was always accompanied by his trusty steed Champion and any number of sidekicks.
