PhotoTV

Quick Look: PhotoTV is a fully customizable screensaver that allows users to create their own personal screensaver that displays a slideshow of their own images while their Roku is idle. Photos can be streamed from Pexels (a stock photography website), USB (on Roku devices that support thumb drives) and Dropbox.

Due to time constraints, we have not yet had the opportunity to test this channel for ourselves; the information above is based on the Roku Channel Store description and we cannot vouch for the accuracy of the information at this time.

NOTE: Screensavers do not work like regular channels. They must be activated from the Settings menu. See this article for more details on setting up a screensaver on your Roku.

Developer's Channel Description: PhotoTV gives users full flexibility and control of the photos to stream on their Roku devices. It supports streaming from multiple folders from multiple photo sources without limits. Currently 3 photo source types are supported: Pexels, USB (flash memory) and Dropbox. PhotoTV gets you covered whether you want stunning pictures to display on your TV out of the box or customized ones. PhotoTV gives the user the ability to select the desired transition time and limit the daily downloaded content. Using complex algorithms and caching, PhotoTV makes sure your photos are in sync with cloud content using the lowest possible internet bandwidth. Enjoy your TV!
