ONO with Friends

Quick Look: ONO with Friends is a Roku adaptation of the popular Mattel card game Uno. The Roku version called Ono offers several different playing modes or games which include:

  • Struggle - No coins needed
  • Online 2 players - 10 coins needed to play
  • Online 4 players - 20 coins needed to play
  • Online 2x2 players - 20 coins needed to play
  • Online Event - 50 coins needed to play
  • Play with Friends - Create a room or join a game

Everything but the basic "Struggle" game will cost you coins that you are awarded or earned when you win games or tournaments. The game plays the same as a traditional Uno game where you are dealt 7 cards and you must match either the color, number or symbol on your opponent's card that was played. If you do not have a card to play you are prompted to draw a card from the deck. If that card can be played it will be, otherwise your turn is over. The first player to play all of their cards is declared the winner and is awarded coins as well as experience points that can propel you to the next level. A complete list of rules for the game can be found using the B button on your remote.

You can create and customize your player profile by adding a nickname, avatar and frame. As you progress, more options will become available or you can purchase them from the app store found in the channel. If you run out of coins you can purchase additional coins using the billing information associated with your Roku account.
