NSF Science Zone

Quick Look: NSF Science Zone provides videos about science, engineering and technology from the National Science Foundation. Videos can be found in the following categories:

  • Quick Pix - Short videos (5 minutes or less) about a variety of topics that include "Two million-year-old ice provides snapshot of Earth's greenhouse gas history," "Microprobe analyzes volcanic materials," and "A robotic fish swims in the ocean."
  • Diving Deeper - Longer videos that go into greater detail on subjects such as "Engineering smart building skins for cleaner, greener architecture," "The birth of the first star in the universe," and "Quantum entanglement animated."
  • Series - Currently, three dozen videos series are available, including "Ask a Scientist," "When Nature Strikes," and "Scientists & Engineers on Sofas."

If you don't know where to start, the channel also includes a video livestream.
