Quick Look: My Mother the Car is a sitcom that first aired in 1965 and lasted only two seasons. The show starred Jerry Van Dyke, Maggie Pierce, and Ann Sothern, with a plot revolving around Dave Crabtree, played by Jerry Van Dyke, and his relationship with his mother who has been reincarnated as a 1928 Porter automobile.
There is not much more to the storyline than that, other than the awkward situations this relationship causes. A bit of trivia about this show: Bill O'Reilly of "The O'Reilly Factor" voted this sitcom the worst TV show in broadcast history.
