Quick Look: Quick Look: Mr Snake 2 is a modern version of the original arcade game Blockage, which originated in 1976 and saw numerous variations. The premise of the game is still the same, to eat as many pellets as possible, which causes your "snake" to grow longer, while you avoid hitting obstacles or your own tail, but Mr Snake 2 has a much different playing field than usual. In this version, you see only a portion of the playing field, which moves as you move. Also, you only use your left and right arrows, which moves the snake relative to the snake's head instead of moving up/down/left/right relative to the direction on the screen.
Mr Snake 2 is free for a limited amount of playing time. The game starts off with a number of free "coins" that you can redeem each time you lose and want to save your place in the game. But if you run out of coins or if you exit the game without spending coins to save your place, you're locked out of any further play until you purchase the full game for $2.99. Before getting to the purchase option, however, you will be asked to create an account by sharing your name, address, email address, and phone number (as listed in your Roku account). If you're prompted to purchase the full version and decline, the channel will close even if you have coins left in your account.
If you prefer the classic version of this game, the Roku game Snake is a good choice.
