Quick Look: Jungle Jumper is a nearly-exact replica of the classic arcade game Donkey Kong that rose to popularity in the early 1980s. There is a slight twist to the game in that the roles are reversed - the gorilla is now the one jumping barrels and climbing ladders while the evil hunter "Jim" is is the villain who captured the princess.
The game plays the same as the arcade version; you use your remote control to direct your character, jump barrels and climb ladders. You can customize the game with the following options using your remote:
- Use your remote in either a vertical or horizontal mode
- Play either the Japan Arcade (same board order all levels) or USA Arcade (board order changes per level)
- Start with 3, 4, 5 or 6 lives
- High Score (if you modify(use cheat keys) scores will not be recorded
