ibi

Quick Look: ibi is a Roku channel that is a companion to the SanDisk ibi disk drive, a product that was tradmarked earlier this year but doesn't seem to exist. In theory, the SanDisk ibi disk drive, with a 2TB capacity, will automatically collect your photos from all of your devices, social media accounts, and cloud storage, store them, and then allow you to view them through this ibi Roku channel and ibi smartphone apps.

The Roku channel requires you to login to use it, and directs you to meetibi.com for more information. That website displays only an "under construction" notice, but a Google search shows another ibi website at www.sandisk.com/campaign/landing/ibi-test-dec. That alternate site has more information, but the "Buy Now" link is dead.

Google search also identifies an ibi Android app in Google Play, but that link is also dead. A cached version of the app's Google Play page shows the app was last updated on November 9, 2018, as version number 1.0.0.

-- Information is current as of December 26, 2018
