Heroes VS Monsters

Quick Look: Heroes VS Monsters is a collection of campy Asian films including Godzilla and Inframan. There are currently only eight titles available, all of which are either dubbed or contain English subtitles:

  • The Super Inframan (1975) - Godzilla never looked this good as Danny Lee plays the kung-fu fighting action hero Inframan. Inframan battles a wild menagerie of rubber-suited monsters and beasties that is just wild to witness.
  • Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla (1974) - Aliens intend to take over the planet and, just in case Godzilla tries to interfere, have built a mechanical version of him to put an end to his interference. The Earth humans summon the legendary King Seesar to assist Godzilla in the battle.
  • War of the Gargantuas (1966) - Gaira, a humanoid sea beast spawned from the discarded cells of Frankenstein's monster, attacks the shores of Tokyo. While the Japanese military prepares to take action, Gaira's Gargantua brother, Sanda, descends from the mountains to defend his kin. A battle between good and evil ensues, leaving brothers divided and a city in ruins.
  • Inframan - Undubbed version of The Super Inframan (1975) listed above.
  • Son of Godzilla - A strange weather condition has produced Minya, a miniature creature from the same species as Godzilla! Attacked by giant insects, Minya cries for help and Godzilla responds, taking the youngster under his wing. As Godzilla teaches Minya proper monster etiquette, they are attacked by a giant spider which will prove to be young Minya's first true test of his fledgling monster skills
  • Ultraman: The Alien Invasion - A compilation of the Japan/Australian TV series generally known as Ultraman: Towards the Future.
  • The Green Slime (1969) - After a perilous mission to an asteroid, a crew returns to its space station, unaware a bit of ooze from the asteroid clings to a crewman's uniform. The green goop grows into monsters.
