HERE Boston

Quick Look: HERE Boston, which is available on Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, and Android and iOS mobile devices, describes itself as being "like NETFLIX for Boston but with ALOT more..." This little channel has big aspirations for a service with only a few dozen videos, many of which are just promotional videos for local businesses, in just 11 categories.

Specifically, you'll find videos in categories that include Sports (3 videos), Food (4 videos), Film Fest 52 (3 videos), Music (5 videos), Comedy (3 videos) and Here Boston Now (23 videos). Note that some videos appear in multiple categories.

The channel also includes five live stream channels - HERE Boston Now, Sports Channel, Music Channel, HERE Boston Live!, and Today's Weather Forecast. (HERE Boston Live! was not working at the time of our review.)

To watch this meager collection of videos on Roku (or any other device), though, you'll need to first install their Android or iOS app on a mobile device, register by providing your name, email address, gender, and birth date, and then log into the Roku channel with your username or with a code generated through the mobile app.
