HBO Max

Quick Look: HBO MAX is a subscription streaming service from AT&T's WarnerMedia. The service includes all of the programming from WarnerMedia's HBO premium TV service, plus additional original programming and other video content from WarnerMedia and third-party providers that include Cartoon Network, DreamWorks, Sesame Workshop, Sony Pictures, Universal Pictures, Walt Disney, Warner Bros. and many others.

HBO Max features include:

  • Thousands of hours of movies, series, and Max Originals.
  • Ability to create up to five viewer profiles.
  • Curated video collections, including kids' collections.
  • HBO Max Hubs devoted to your favorite fandoms.

HBO Max can be added using the link below, but if you already have the HBO Now channel on your Roku device it will automatically update to HBO Max. Existing HBO Max or HBO NOW subscribers can access HBO Max on Roku using their existing credentials (email and password) to sign in. Likewise, pay TV subscribers with HBO Max can use their existing credentials to authenticate the HBO Max channel on their Roku device.

HBO Max is only accessible in the U.S. and certain U.S. territories, where it is available on all Roku devices that support OS 9.3 and above. To check your OS version, from your Roku's home screen go to Settings >> System >> About and look for the software version number.
