Quick Look: Hawkeye and the Last of the Mohicans is a 1957 television series follows Hawkeye(John Hart) and his Indian companion Chingachgook (Lon Chaney Jr.) as they protect new settlers from other aggressive Indian tribes and bandits while they rescue settlers in need of help. The series is loosely based on the 1826 novel The Last of the Mohicans, and ran for one season with 39 half-hour episodes. All episodes are available on the Hawkeye & Last of the Mohicans.
