Hardly Strictly Bluegrass TV

Quick Look: Hardly Strictly Bluegrass is an annual event traditionally held the first weekend of October at Golden Gate Park in San Francisco, CA. The free event is subsidized by San Francisco venture capitalist Warren Hellman, and been held there since 2001.

The Hardly Strictly Bluegrass TV channel contains performances and interviews from artists who have participated in the event, as well as episodes from the web series Let the Music Play On. The Hardly Strictly Bluegrass events contain footage from the Come What May: San Francisco Bay Area, Come What May: New Orleans, and HSB 2021, Live from Pier 70. Artists featured include Hawktail, Steve Earle, Cedric Watson and Bijou Creol, Ani DiFranco with the Hardly Strictly Lesbian Band, Rainbow Girls and Jackie Green/Tim Bluhm.

The Let the Music Play On videos include 15 episodes featuring music from the likes of Ashley Monroe, Laurie Lewis, Nina Gerber and Robert Earl Green, Boz Skaggs and Los Lobos just to name a few.
