Gothic Nightmares TV carries 101 vintage black-and-white horror films that include the Bela Lugosi titles The Ape Man (1943), in which crazed Dr. James Brewster, aided by his colleague Dr. Randall, has managed to transform himself into a hairy, stooped-over ape-man while conducting weird scientific experiments; The Mysterious Mr Wong (1934), where wise-guy reporter Jason Barton, who is investigating a series of murders in Chinatown, is captured by the megalomaniacal Mr. Wong, desperately trying to complete his collection of the twelve gold coins of Confucius, with which he will be able to acquire the power to become ruler of a large province in China; and Bela Lugosi Meets A Brooklyn Gorilla (1952), in which nightclub performers, Duke Mitchell & Sammy Petrillo (dead ringers for Dean Martin & Jerry Lewis) find themselves stranded on a treacherous island where the friendly natives, especially the tribal chief's daughter, try to help the two get off the island.
