Firehouse Kitchen

Quick Look: Firehouse Kitchen is not your typical Roku cooking channel. The videos not only provide delicious recipes from firehouses around the New York City area, they also benefit the community and charitable organizations including Friends of Firefighters and local burn centers.

The channel is hosted by retired firefighter Ray Cooney who visits these fire stations and talks shop, offering fire safety tips and facts with the firemen while they create one of their signature meals. Dishes include Bread Pudding with Bourbon Sauce with Braised Short Ribs, Cilantro Lime Pork Sandwich, Brazed Beef Shank Tacos and Escarole and Beans. Each video is different but they all provide instructions for proper preparation and cooking as well as measured ingredients. The channel currently has random episodes for the first three seasons but additional videos can be found on the link below as well as on their website.

Below is one of the videos found on this channel. Additional content can be found on Firehouse Kitchen on Vimeo.
