Quick Look: Film Rabbits claims to host "over 15,000 FREE movies and TV shows starring your favorite actors," but I counted just 11 titles, and not a single movie had any of my favorite actors. The 11 available films are B-grade, or movies that went straight to video (for a reason). Titles include the following (descriptions courtesy of IMDB.com):
- A Gothic Confession (2009) - A documentary styled movie which looks into the Gothic culture, which in turn brings up a question about a rumored Gothic style murder where nothing is what it seems.
- Burial Boys (2010) - Royce inherits his grandmother's funeral home. To increase business, Royce and his best friend, Seppy decide to kill everyone in town, with a few bumps along the way.
- Big Bry's Western Style BBQ (2006) - Big Bry, former professional bull rider and hunter, shows you how to prepare delicious Western-style barbecue in your own backyard.
- A Day at the Oasis (2010) - Rural speed-dating. 5 Men. 2 Women. 1 Pregnancy. It's going to be a winner.
The full channel description in the Roku channel store says that you can watch commercial-free programming by signing up for a $5.99/month subscription at the Film Rabbits website. However, the website they list is nothing more than a blog template with no customization, and also has an invalid security certificate. I also tracked down a link to Film Rabbits through the channel developer, Echelon Studios, but their link returned an error that the domain's server IP address could not be found.
