Enjoy Movies Your Way is similar to the popular VidAngel service previously available on Roku, allowing you to skip language and graphic content in movies and TV shows based on filters that you set. Enjoy is promoted as a family-friendly way of watching mainstream videos that you might find objectionable in their original format.
Enjoy doesn't stream any movies or TV shows itself. Rather, you will need to connect one or more of the following streaming accounts to the Enjoy Movies Your Way app: Amazon Prime Video, Disney+, HBO Max, Hulu, Netflix, YouTube. You can then set filters that include age-appropriate language, cursing & crude language, name calling, and "vain reference to deity." Other filters include violence, sexual content, drug content, and themes (such as abortion, divorce, LGBTQ content, and suicide). Filters can vary by profile, so you can apply more-stringent filters for the younger members of your household while allowing older children and adults to more leeway in what gets shown.
Enjoy lets you alter movies and TV shows in several other ways as well. You can speed up or slow down the playback speed, let the app automatically adjust the length of the video based on the amount of time you enter, enable volume leveling and auto-brightness, and customize subtitling. Some of these feature and filters are available only under a paid plan, while others are included in the free level of service.
