Quick Look: EncourageTV offers a collection of free "Family-Friendly, Kid-Friendly and Faith-Friendly" content form Bridgestone Multimedia Group (BMG Global), whose mission is to provide quality, trusted entertainment that is appropriate for viewers of all ages. According to BMG, "We want our audience to feel inspired and fulfilled by the programming that we offer and therefore all of our content is carefully evaluated to adhere to our standards." The EncourageTV Roku channel is also Dove Approved.
The channel currently includes a large library of titles in nearly 30 categories, which include the following:
- Teen - Titles include 'The Current' (2014), about two boys who become best friends and spend a fun-filled summer together on the river, and 'The Sound of the Spirit' (2012), a never-before-told story that shows a young girl caught in the crossfire of two faith communities with strong feelings.
- Period - Titles include 'Where the Red Fern Grows' (1974), about a boy's search for two redbone hound dogs in which he faces adventure, suspense, tragedy, and the love and loyalty of family, and 'What Katy Did,' a 1999 family drama about a girl who is confined in her room following a serious accident.
- Adventure - Titles include 'The Fix It Boys' (2016), a zany story of two brothers who use their mechanical intuitiveness to fix people's problems; and 'Pocket Angel' (2005) about a young angel's first assignment, which is to restore faith and courage to a mother whose son has been kidnapped in Mexico.
- Educational - Several episodes of Kingdom Under The Sea, an animated series featuring Splash and friends, other titles.
Just a few of the other categories are Multi-Cultural, Teen, Animals, Comedy, Historical, Patriotic, and Love. Also included are seasonal categories such as Mother's Day, Father's Day, Easter, and Christmas.
