biblio+: Watch Movies & TV

Quick Look: biblio+: Watch Movies & TV is an app that works in conjunction with participating local libraries to allow library patrons to stream movies and TV shows for free. The streaming service is similar to the better-known and more-widely available Kanopy, but claims to be "a more affordable video streaming solution for libraries."

Currently available content includes both feature films and television series, neither of which include any "mainstream" titles. However, there are some series and films worth taking a look at. The films include a decent selection of titles that span most every genre including Action, Comedy, Drama, Horror Romance, SciFi as well as Documentaries and Foreign films.

The series are divided into Fiction and Non-fiction and offer a mix of programs that include Anthony Bordain - A Cooks Tour, True CSI, Disney Parks, Crime Stoppers, Avocado Toast, A Little Princess and The Librarians. Clicking on any title brings up a very detailed synopsis of the film or series including information on each available episode as well as cinematic rating, cast, genre and director.

If your local library participates in this program, follow the prompts on the Biblio+ website to link your Roku and library card to the service and start streaming.
