Awesome Movies

Quick Look: The Awesome Movies channel currently contains a rather limited list of popular movies from the 1980s and early 90s. Titles include Better Off Dead, a 1985 American teen dark comedy film starring John Cusack that tells the story of a high school student who is suicidal after his girlfriend breaks up with him shortly before Christmas, and Freaked, a 1993 "warped but stylish little black comedy [that] tells the story of... an avaricious, spoiled star who becomes the official spokesperson for the enormous Everything Except Shoes corporation without realizing that they are deliberately and irresponsibly marketing... a deadly chemical fertilizer in Third World countries." Also among the titles on this channel are The Cherokee Kid (1997), Lionhart (1990), Sidekicks (1992), Mikey (1992), Body Bags( 1993), and Night of Demons (1988).
