Huffington Post Streaming Network Channel Planned for Roku

Huffington Post RokuBloomberg Businessweek reported today that The Huffington Post plans to create live online programming that will be delivered through various venues including the Roku digital video player. The report states that "The Huffington Post Streaming Network will feature news and commentary based on content from its companion websites," according to President Arianna Huffington, who made the announcement at a presentation to reporters today.

The service, which is to start later this year, is to stream video, which will be produced by a staff of 100 from its Los Angeles and New York studios, for 12 hours a day, five days a week.
