Phase X

Phase X is the Roku version of Phase 10, a card game based on a variant of rummy known as contract rummy[1]. In the Roku version, you can play against the machine or against other online players.

The game is played with a 108-card deck that consists of 96 numbered cards (two of each value from 1 through 12, in each of four colors), eight Wild cards, and four Skip cards. To win, a player must be the first to advance through two phases, or melds. (In this Roku version there are only two phases, but the original Phase 10 has ten phases, as the name of the game indicates). The first phase requires you to lay down two sets of three cards; the second phase requires one run of seven cards, or seven cards with the same color. You must complete the first phase before advancing to the next one even if the other player completes their phase.

There are no rules provided for Phase X on Roku, but you can find rules for Phase 10 here. To play, use the directional arrows on your Roku remote to highlight the card you want to draw or move, press the OK button to select the card, move it with the directional arrows, and then press OK again to place it or discard it. Note that the game won't allow you to move a card into the phase area if it doesn't belong there.

Screenshots of the game are shown below.
