Odysee Unofficial

Quick Look: Odysee Unofficial brings to Roku videos from Odysee, a YouTube-like video sharing service built by the creators of LBRY (pronounced "library"). LBRY is a a blockchain network billed as "an open, free, and fair network for digital content." But unlike YouTube, "there are no moderators, and no safety filters for younger viewers," according to ZDnet.

Odysee content is mostly free to watch, although creators can set a price (measured in "library credits" or LBCs). Viewers can tip creators in LBCs if they so choose, although this option is not available through the Roku app. The Roku app mostly mimics the Odysse website with videos in eight categories: Cheese, Big Hits, Gaming, Lab, Tech, News & Politics, Finance 2.0, and The Universe. Missing from Roku are Movies and Wild West. Also missing is the Following category due to the inability to link an Odysee user account with the Roku app.

More information on using Odysse can be found on the Odysee FAQ page.
