LASER558 pays tribute to the original Laser 558 offshore pirate radio station that broadcast to British audiences from the MV Communicator in international waters in the North Sea from May 1984 through late 1985. The station played current (at that time) tracks with oldies. This recreation of Laser 558 played 1980s hits during our review, with songs that included I Can't Stand the Rain by Tina Turner, Sledgehammer by Peter Gabriel, and Running Up That Hill by Kate Bush.
