Bomb Blast is a remake of the classic Minesweeper game that was released in 1990 by Microsoft. The object of the game is to clear the board of hidden bombs.
For those not familiar with this game, the board consists of a grid of squares containing bombs. If you click on a square with a bomb, you lose. Clicking a square without a bomb reveals the number of neighboring squares that do contain bombs. You use this information in an attempt to determine which squares are bomb-free. If you think a square may have a bomb, move to that square and press the * button to mark it. You don't have to mark the bombs, but mis-marked squares must have their marks removed to finish the game. The number of bombs you need to reveal is shown at the top of the screen.
Another free version of this game on Roku is Minesweeper Deluxe, which has additional features and nicer-looking screen.
