North Pole Network 2.0

North Pole Network 2.0 is not "Live from the North Pole" as claimed in the Roku channel store description. And from what we can tell, it has little (if anything) to do with Christmas at all. The channel is a live stream that during our review was showing very low-quality home videos of what people being surprised by what we can only guess is friends or relatives returning home. During another check of the channel, it was streaming sad stories from EastIdahoNews.com.

The channel is titled "2.0" because its an update to the original North Pole Network Roku channel and carries the same thumbnail and channel store description. The original channel, which carried a variety of on-demand Christmas-themed videos, is still listed in the Roku channel store, and can still be loaded onto your Roku device, but it has no content other than a static background screen.
