The wait for the Roku Yule log is over. It's back, with Jazzy or classic Christmas music, or just the sound of the roaring fire, on the Roku Holiday Fun channel. You'll also find holiday-themed movie trailers from Flixster, holiday cooking tips from Chow and AOL On, and gift reviews from CNET. And there are two dozen radio stations featuring Christmas-themed music from Tune In Radio.

The America's Wars Channel has added the critically acclaimed documentary series Medal of Honor: Extraordinary Valor to their library of war-related videos that span the Great Indian Wars to the war in Iraq.

Jack and Holly, animated characters from the UK that were developed to entertain and educate preschoolers, can now be seen on Roku players in the US on the private Jack and Holly Channel. And just in time for the Christmas season, the channel includes songs and videos from Jack and Holly's Christmas Countdown and Jack and Holly's Christmas Top 10.

Google Music users can now access their songs and playlists over the Roku using the new private channel Nowhere Music. The free Google Music service lets you upload up to 20,000 songs for free, and then stream them to your Android tablet or smartphone.
