To get started, you will need to create an account at sagebin.com for $5.00 per month. Then you ship your videos to Sagebin, where they will convert them to an online digital format and then store them in their warehouse. If you own a DVD or Blu-ray title that is already in their library, they will give you access as soon as they receive your disc, without your having to wait for it to be converted. If you cancel your account, you get your physical disc or tape back. You can also purchase videos through Sagebin; if you cancel your account, they will send you a disc for every movie you purchased.
Once Sagebin has received your discs or tapes, and converted them if needed, you can log into the Sagebin Roku channel to view the films. If you don't have an account, the channel offers a handful of trailers you can watch - just select the Preview option on the channel's login screen.
