Quick Look: FlickstreamTV-Film Noir plays a random assortment of vintage public domain "film noir" movies from the early days of cinema. A film is automatically selected when you launch the channel, and there's no pause, rewind, or fast-forward. If you leave the channel, a different title will play when you return. If you don't like a title, though, you can exit and return to try your luck with a different selection.
During our review, we were treated to City Without Men (1943), about a young woman whose husband has been imprisoned for a crime he didn't commit, so she moves into a boardinghouse near the prison to help him get released; Lady in the Death House (1944), in which a young woman is on death row for the murder of a man who was blackmailing her family; and The Fat Man (1951), where a dentist's murder is investigated by hefty sleuth Brad Runyan.
