Quick Look: Previously called The Action Arena, FilmRise Action mostly offers modern-day straight-to-video B-grade movies, but you'll find some gems hidden in here. Despite the channel store's breathless description of "thousands of FREE Action Movies starring your favorite actors," there are currently 186 titles available and you won't recognize the stars of many of them, especially in films like Bunny the Killer Thing (2015). However, you will find some recognizable names like Burt Reynolds, Kris Kristofferson, and James Spader in some of their lesser-known works. Aside from Killer Bunnies, you'll find titles that include the following "featured" films (plot summaries courtesy of IMDB.com):
- Caught Inside (2010) - Surfing charters are meant to be a trip to Paradise. With six male surfers stuck on a boat, there's bound to be some friction. When two of the surf crew are replaced at the last minute with girls - the heat is turned way up.
- Day of Wrath (2006) - Set in the 16th century, a sheriff working on a series of murders has to choose between his conscience and protecting his family when he's tied to the crimes.
- I Witness (2003) - After 27 bodies are discovered in a collapsed tunnel in Tijuana, a man tries to unravel the mystery before becoming the next victim.
