At this week's Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2016 in Las Vegas, Sling TV announced two major changes to its service: The addition of ESPN3 as part of the basic Best of Live TV package, and a new user interface that will make it easier to find movies and TV shows of interest to the individual subscriber.

Many people have ditched their cable or satellite television service and have turned to Roku players and TVs for video entertainment, saving hundreds of dollars a year. Roku is an excellent choice for cord cutters, but it's not a direct replacement for cable.
