M-GO to be rebranded as FandangoNOWM-Go, Roku's embedded streaming movie service, will soon be rebranded as FandangoNOW. Movie-ticketing service Fandango acquired M-Go in January and reportedly plans to use FandangoNOW as a way to boost revenue by combining video-on-demand with sales of tickets for in-theater movies.

Sling TV adds Local Now, ABC, others to RokuSling TV, which offers live streaming of many popular sports, news, movie and entertainment cable TV channels, has made a number of recent changes to their service. Local Now has been added to the Roku app, ABC network and local programming is available in select areas, and Newsy, Viceland, and Flama have been added to the "Best of Live TV" subscription package. Also, ABC Family has been rebranded as Freeform. If you haven't checked out Sling TV in awhile, read on for details on all of these recent additions and changes.

PBS to Launch Free 24/7 Kids ChannelPBS is launching a new 24/7 children’s service later this year, including a new TV channel and free live stream on Roku and other digital platforms. The live stream will complement on-demand clips and full episodes, which will continue to be available for free on the PBS KIDS app and PBS KIDS Roku channel, which is consistently one of the top 25 most-watched Roku channels.

Sling TV Expands Cricket Coverage for U.S. ViewersCricket fans in the U.S. will have expanded coverage of live international cricket matches through an expansion of a relationship between Willow TV International and Sling TV and it's parent DISH. International Cricket Council (ICC) events will now be included at no additional charge to Sling TV and DISH customers who receive the Willow cricket channel, starting with the ICC World Twenty20 2016, which begins March 8, 2016.
