Roku Channel Store CategoriesGood news for basketball fans - the NBA's Game Time Lite channel has launched on the Roku for the shortened 2011-2012 season, and it's free. Live games will require a subscription after January 8, but you still have free access to scores (updated in real time during games), team and player stats, team standings, and video recaps of the games.

Private Roku ChannelsRokuGuide is now providing reviews of so-called "private" channels. For those of you who aren't familiar with private channels, these are like any other Roku channel, except they aren't available through the channel store. They may be intended for a limited audience, they may be beta channels not ready for general release, or there may be another reason why a developer has decided not to list the channel in the Roku channel store.
