Quick Look: BTN is the Big Ten Network, a cable network operated by Fox Sports for the purpose of broadcasting collegiate sports and other programming from the Big Ten Conference. BTN is carried by over 300 cable and satellite TV providers.

BTN2Go is the Internet arm of the BTN channel, streaming every telecast that is broadcast by BTN. To watch televised events, however, you need to subscribe to BTN through a participating pay TV provider. To find out if your carrier participates, visit for the full list. Most major cable services are included, along with dozens of regional and municipal cable services. Some streaming services also allow authentication, including DIRECTV NOW and Hulu.

Non-televised events, including live games produced by students at Big Ten universities, can also be seen on this channel if you're a BTN Plus subscriber. (A subscription to BTN Plus on BTN2Go does not require a BTN TV subscription with a pay TV provider.)

For those of you who are able to sign into BTN2Go, you'll find that you can watch more than what's provided through the BTN TV subscription. If 3 games are being broadcast and only 2 are available through your TV provider, the third will also be on BTN2Go. If 2 games are schedule back to back and the first goes long, you can watch the start of the second on BTN2Go while BTN on cable continues with the first.
