Your Independent TV Streamer Guide

Quick Look: BarTV offers DVDs, and now a Roku channel, with videos that are designed to be played on TVs in bars and restaurants. The Roku channel has over 10 hours of continuously streaming content that includes surfing, movie trailers, cartoons, and vintage TV. The BarTV videos are said to have been edited by a former bar owner and TV programmer, with the slow parts have been edited out. Licensing fees for public viewing have already been paid, so bar owners don't need to worry about copyright violations. Interspersed between videos are slides that promote the food & beverage business, such as holiday reminders and suggestions to ask about monthly specials.

A demo reel for the BarTV DVDs is shown below. Expect similar content on the Roku channel.
